RAF Scampton Visit

April 10th, 2017

Cadets had a great time today at RAF Scampton in which we joined cadets from 2195 Squadron.

The day started with a visit around the museum, which specifically focused on the Dambusters. Next, the cadets were lucky to have lunch in the mess and see what life in the RAF is like. Finally, the cadets spent the afternoon being welcomed into the hangar where the Red Arrows are maintained and were given a tour around by the mechanics.

The day ended with a chance for the cadets to watch a spectacular practice, which was closer than most of the public will ever get. A special thank you to SAC Dinsdale and the staff working with the Red Arrows that let the cadets in to see what they do.
