This area is to show the training programme for the current month. The training programme will show what activities will be taking place at the Squadron and the uniform the cadets are required to wear for those activities

Consent forms that are required for certain activities that take place outside of the Squadron grounds can also be downloaded in this section.

Authorised Absence forms need to be filled out and handed to an NCO in your flight, preferably a week prior to your absence.

  • MOI Course

    The MOI Course is designed as a progression route for all Cadets who have reached the Master Cadet Classification. This one day course delivers everything you need to know from planning a lesson to best practices in the delivery of a lesson. Upon passing the assessment, you will be presented with a yellow lanyard and a certificate of congratulations.

    The Staff Cadet Course is designed at those Cadets who are aged 16.5 and over, who are wanting to stay in the Air Cadets following their 18th Birthday. This is a mandatory course and gives you all the information you need regarding safeguarding and welfare as well as guidance on completing the DBS Form.

    ATC Sunday is the Sunday closest to the 5th February, the anniversary of the Air Training Corps. Celebrated every year with 2195 (Long Eaton) Squadron at St Lawrence’s Church in Long Eaton, looking back at the past 76 years, the good times, the bad times and the times ahead for the organisation.

    The Squadron Banner team will be parading the Region Banner in a flagship parade down in London at the St Clement Danes Church. This is a fantastic opportunity for the Squadron to be offered this position, especially in the centenary year of the Royal Air Force.

    Insanity Fitness will be in Sports Kit but the rest will be in Working Blues.

    Two courses ran at our partner station, RAF Wittering and led by volunteers up and down the Wing.

     

    INCO Course – Designed for newly promoted CPL’s are CDT’s ready to take on the roles and responsibilities of an NCO, have to be referred by the Squadron Commander to go on the course.

     

    SNCO Course – Designed for newly promoted SGT’s or CPL’s ready to take on the roles and responsibilities of a Senior NCO, have to be referred by the Squadron Commander to go on the course.
